The flagship Topshop store in Oxford Circus is a veritable Alladin's cave of fashion treats. Topshop are sponsoring the development of cutting edge fashion and are bringing us interesting and quirky designs, in collaboration with celebs and designers. You are paying for originality in Topshop so don't buy boring basics here.  You may as well get those from Primark.  Topshop are particularly good at statement accessories, jeans, coats and jackets. You will also be pleased to know that Topshop is regarded by some eco buffs as ethical. Time!

Topshop requires time and energy.  This is mainly due to the fact that there is so much stock.  Another contributing factor is that there are so many styles and colour ways for each item of clothing.

Price Alert!

Topshop markets itself as a cheaper shop but it can actually be quite expensive.

Small sizing Alert

The Topshop size models are tiny and the clothes still tend to be designed for teenage waifs so watch out for skinny sizing. Go up a size!

Ethical and fair trade issues

Topshop have not covered themselves in glory when it comes to ethical and fair trade issues. They purport to be addressing these issues. It is worth checking out our link regarding these issues and what the retailers are doing about it.
