The Dangers of The Party Season!

The festive season is nearly upon us and the high street is as normal responding with its discordant displays of silky shiny tops! Not only that but this season, sequins are also in full resplendence to make us look like a badly decorated Christmas tree. T'is the season to take care over your party purchases and don't leave it to the last minute when you have to spend a fortune on a piece of tat that you are not too sure you like anyway!

To cut financial corners you will find that the high street are embroidering sequins onto cheap fabric. Particularly watch out for very thin jersey and sequins combinations. These often hang badly and look bedraggled and tatty.

To add a bit of necessary sparkle to the party season why not invest in a couple of sparkly accessories. We have been happily surprised by the Phase Eight party accessories. I particularly love their sequin purses and glitzy belts, even their iconic statement pearls and baubles for £22 are a winner for the season and will glam up our faithful little black dresses!
