Charlie Smith's original and exquisite designs still reign supreme in FC&NK's eyes! AW10/11 sees Charlie Smith launch her new collection of unique jewellery that sees retro jewellery reworked with raw materials such as leather, horn, crystal and precious and semi-precious stones. The result is a stunning range of one-off pieces that are both glamorous and edgy.
Charlie has drawn on her love of organic materials and retro styling to create jewellery that are statement pieces to be both dressed up or dressed down. No two pieces are alike, yet the common theme is the decadence of yesteryear with the styling of urban street fashion.
Her Peace collection sees chunky angel wings, bullets and horn; made from bone, buffalo horn and rose wood, entwined with chains, crystals and leather. All new materials are environmentally renewable and ethically sourced.
The Vintage collection sees raw slabs of crystal sitting alongside delicate 
beading and ornate metalwork.
Smith, who is also renowned for her stunning vintage-meets-urban chic chandeliers at iconic London department stall Liberty, has been designing for
over 10 years. With this new collection she aims to bring affordable, bespoke luxury to a wider audience. Fur Coat is in negociation with FC Husband to get two of these beauties to adorn her home in the new year! Wish her luck!
