Boutique of the Month: Melting Hearts

We
love bracelets at FC&NK, which is why we are overjoyed to discover
these treasures! Even better is that you really pile these bea

uties
on or opt for just one or two adorning your wrists. Both looks look
fab! Melting Hearts, the brand behind these sensations, have launched
their first collection, Faith. Faith is a range of mainly bracelets that
are handmade from natural elements such as pure silver, gold vermeil,
semi-precious stones, pearl and leather.
We are previewing Melting Hearts in our
Boutique this month, check them out early as I am sure that they will take the high street by storm.
To view the full collection, visit
Melting Hearts, befriend them on
Facebook, follow their
Twitters or check out their

A swing back to the 70's. Glamour or just plain sad?

That
70's feeling is in the air again. How many of us have been invited to
deck ourselves out 70's style and head to party land? Well, Fur Coat has
and LOVED IT!! Even FC husband got into it and glammed up for the
evening. See
Fur Coat's blog
from February. Now the rage is hitting the high street with the 70's
look back in for SS11. Maxi dresses (mind you, when did they ever
leave?), big sunnies (ditto) and who can forget the iconic boob tubes
like this stretchy bold number from French Connection above. Click on
the image to check it out online.

FC&NK
favour the Jodie Foster look that Marc Jacobs is show casing this
Spring. And who can forget the iconic Jerry Hall strutting her stuff in
the 70's? Both women oozed (and still do) style with their clean lined
look. Marc Jacobs has given the look a twist with a satin look. No doubt
the high street will be soon following suit.
What we are not really
into is the high waisted bell bottom jean look. Our main gripe with
this look is that the average woman cannot wear this kind of caper. It
is all very well for a 6 foot tall Amazonian supermodel. Not so pretty
on a size 12 5 foot woman, ie, the majority of the population! Glo mesh
bags like the kind my mother used to wear are the go this SS11. Check
this one out from Oliver Bonas. It is just like the ones our mothers
used to wear in the 70's...just with a 21 century twist. One side sports
the word "Love", whilst the other side sports the word "Hate". Cool
Hey!!
Until next time we meet!...Emma (Fur Coat) and Suzie (No Knickers)
