Snuggle Up With Jameela!

As you know, at FCaNK we are not celebrity fashion followers and are not wanting to fake a celebrity look for a fiver because it's cheap and nasty! However, last week at the Bora Aksu spring/summer/10 show I was entranced my Jameela Jamil and a cosy houndstooth wool jacket. What I love about this look is that it is easy to wear, chic and astoundingly sexy but you don't need to be a chopstick to do it justice! I adore the woollen, houndstooth, snug combination for a confident curstey to fashion's latest trend.

So far on the highstreet, the best houndstooth that we can recommend is at Warehouse for £50 . This very good quality, wool, comfortable and easy to wear sweater dress will take you to work and beyond. Spice it up with some huge statement bangles and a classy pair of boots and your outfit is complete. Use a Mary Quant make-up style to complement the outfit, using statement eyeliner and the appropriate lippy!

For those of us who cannot afford to add a new seasonal outfit to our wardrobe, black is a beautiful staple to which you can add some ironically large statement pearls or a metallic, stranded scarf. Primarni have some fabulous ebony spangly necklaces which if you buy two of them will make a glorious statement!

Fashion week was tinged with a great deal of humility this year and I fell in love again and again at designers' ability to survive in a credit crunch storm and continue to provide us with inspiration, fun and textile joy.
