Rest in Peace Lee McQueen

I have always lusted after an Alexander McQueen piece. The rudest shop in the world stocks his stuff (see my earlier blog on rude shop assistants!) and on the ocassions that I have had to endure the shop, I have coasted the racks dreaming of owning a McQueen piece on day.
His designs were always sublimely beautiful! I mean, check out the picture on the right. This dress is from his coming SS10 collection. The imagination of this man knew no bounds.
There is really nothing more to say. I feel that it would be intruding on his family's privacy to add any comment on a man who I don't know the first thing about.
I will miss his spontaneity, his beauty and the enormous contribution that he made to fashion and life in general.
