John Lewis

The word that we think of whenever we enter a John Lewis store is 'dependable'. We know that this sounds a tad boring, but that is precisely what it is. You can depend on John Lewis for service, quality, good discounts, good stock levels and variety. Nothing too outrageous though! John Lewis is not seeking to compete with its glamorous cousins like Selfridges and Harvey Nichols. The company just aims to bring you, the consumer, whatever you want and need.
This has been borne out recently by a 'Which' survey which awarded John Lewis, the Best Retail Store Online award.
Conservative and dependable, be it may, there is definitely a vibrant atmosphere as soon as you arrive instore. We particularly like the huge John Lewis own brand. It is dependable (that word again!) and great value. True No Knickers shopping to be had here! We also love their choice of concessions in store. You will find most of the popular brands here from the likes of White Stuff and Joules through to Jaegar and Mulberry.
We love their credit card scheme which awards you vouchers when you buy at John Lewis, Peter Jones and Waitrose! How good is that! Fur Coat has one tucked away in her wallet for all her John Lewis group purchases.
You can also shop there until you drop and then ask a staff member if you can pick your parcels up at the end of your trip! How fab is that?!
