Although it has had a mother of the bride, mumsy feel in the past, there are some little treasures you can find in here! Twee Alert!
Be careful with Laura Ashley florals because they can be a bit twee, unless you are going to a 1920's fancy dress tea party! Some of the smaller print florals are lovely but the large florals can make you look like one of the Laura Ashley floral mugs!
Deadly Dull and Dowdy Alert!
The shoes can often be dowdy, however, every now and then they come up with a winning design. Skirts can also be extremely dowdy. The bags are very well priced but again, slightly dull. In fact I was accused of being depressed when I last wore my Laura Ashley bag! Oh Dear!
Watch those sizes
The size models seem to have larger waists and hips so clothes might require a nip and tuck!
Don't expect the assistants to know much about fashion
The assistants are often clueless about fashion and consider themselves interior designers so ask them about your wallpaper rather than the garment you are trying on!
