My Georgina Goodman shoe fix!

I received my monthly Georgina Goodman Shoe Mail the other day.   It contained news of a sale at their Shepherd Street outlet store. Not to be missed, I thought to myself.  Of course I won't buy anything.   At least this is what I sincerely told myself and my husband later that evening.   He, surprisingly so, suggested that I buy something if I spot a bargain.  Fantastic! Guilt free shopping, I thought!

Georgina Goodman shoes are simply stunning.  They are works of art in themselves.  When I suggested to my husband that we could frame a couple of pairs, as they are so exquisite, he replied that I should get my head read.

Anyway, back to the shop.  I walked in to a shop filled to the gills with stilettos, high boots, ankle boots, sandals, ballet shoes, court shoes and dress shoes.  There is a style there to suit everyone's individual taste.  The array of colours is stunning. From fluorescent pinks to deep hues of chestnut, Georgina Goodman manages to make every shoe beautiful, no matter how outrageous the style or the colour!  For added quirkiness, Georgina Goodman names all her shoes!

 

I made my way to the metallic shoes.  I chose a pair of Jenny shoes  in a brushed gold leather, which were luckily in my size.  Perfect for day or night wear as they are not too high.  I have a couple of dresses in mind for Jenny! 

 

 

Next I thought ahead to winter.  I have been looking for a pair of low heeled black boots.  I looked no further than Ingrid.  She is stunning in black suede leather criss crossed with patent leather strips.  The heel is funky. Great for the school gates or lunch with friends!  I am already in love although it is months until we can connect in any real way

 

 

 

I then moved onto my last pair of shoes.  I spotted Rosa in the corner of my eye. She was peeking out from amongst some darker shoes.  I need a pair of shoes for a beautiful silk jersey dress that I own. She was perfect and came to the cash register with me. 

 Did I need to buy three pairs of shoes?  Definitely not!  But my goodness me, I had a ball!  I love handing over my credit card for some real quality that will last season after season.  That is Georgina Goodman.
