Fur Coat husband bought me a pair of Wolford Cashmere and silk tights for my birthday. I have them on today with a pair of jeans. My legs are as warm as toast. They are surprisingly robust too! So that gives me hope that they may even last the Winter despite, I am sure, my best efforts to destroy them!

Added to my jeans and tights, I have a pair of socks and boots on. My boots have rubber soles which I think helps keep the cold at bay.

On top I have thermals, a Metalalicus top (an amazing Aussie invention! Really like a stylish thermal) and two cashmere jumpers! I have topped this off with a woolen scarf, hat, gloves and a  warm down 3/4 length coat. 

I should have really rolled out the door with all that lot on but amazingly didn't look too bad! Well, no one commented at the school gates! They may be wondering to themselves why I need to cover up like I do but I live on in blissful ignorance!

I am now sitting here with full heating on (you need heat on when you are writing!) and two cats for company. One of the cats has long fur and I do admit to a fantasy of wrapping the cat fur around my neck for extra warmth. I don't think that my children would ever speak to me again so I will hold that urge at bay!
