I absolutely adore the start of Autumn in the UK. The days are still warm with just the slightest hint of a chill in the air once out of the sun's way. The light is beginning to take on a filtered hue but it is still high enough in the sky to provide me with some warmth! This is when the cardigan (always been a bit iffy on the sound of this word) comes into it's own. Whether you are wearing a jacket, jeans, skirt, dress, another light jumper - the cardigan can be thrown on and off throughout the day!
Australians have never quite got cardis (as they are called there). Maybe because the weather doesn't really call for it there. This leads to a dearth of good stylish cardigans in Australia. Well, that is my experience anyway. Here in the UK, the range and colours are fabulous!
