I Am Off For the Holidays!

This will be my last blog and I thought that I would devote it to that perennial subject of whether to tan or not to tan. I have pale skin. Pale, pale skin that does not love the sun. Every other part of me loves being out in the sun, except my skin. I didn't listen to my skin last Summer and tanned. I got a nasty shock in the Winter when I discovered some horrible sun spots (more of them!) on my shins. As my parents and grand parents were blighted by skin cancer, this was a wake up call to cover up!
So, what to do. I have followed Suzie's advice and gone out bought a tube of St. Tropez moisturising tanning lotion. I must say it works a treat. My other friend Tanya told me how to put it on. Exfoliate (of course) first and then dab some normal moisturiser between your toes and on the tougher skin around the ankles, the knees and the elbows. Then apply the St. Tropez. Stand around with your birthday suit on until it is dry and voila you have a tan! Yes!
Another one that I was told about is the L'Oreal Tanning Lotion that you can see start working as soon as you start spreading it. I have not been able to find that one though. If anyone can give me the heads up on where it is sold, I would much appreciate it!
