Have fcuk found themselves a new head designer?! Honestly, we were blown away when we visited their shop recently. fcuk have seriously upped their game and we are loving it! From their edgy styling to the fantastic quality of the materials that they are using, fcuk cannot put a foot wrong this season! They particularly excel in the dress area. Come here for all your LBD, prom nights and BBQ's. You won't be disappointed!
fcuk have great colour sense and often introduce some fantastic printed textiles. We love their jewellery; and we especially love their belts! FCUK don't release their whole collections all at once so you will find that a dress you have seen advertised in September may not be on the shelves until December. We think this is to keep FCUK a little bit exclusive!
We also love the fcuk staff. They are so helpful and friendly. A lovely Spanish man in the Regent Street store spent a good half an hour with us going through the stock piece by piece! You can't go past that for service!
The Shopping List
- Soft cropped leather jackets in this season's big colour - champagne. Pricey at £350 but you are getting very good quality that will last season after season. There is a little hardware on them but not too overdone.
- Jumpsuits. We can hear you squirm (and we did), very on trend made in silk with beading at the top of the suit. £110
- Maxi dresses in an array of designs and colours. They will rival Coast for their dresses this season!
- Playsuits - sequined too! They do work though! £110
- Work wear - little black dress at £90. Great value and so versatile
- Shoes starting from £75 in loads of great styles and colours. Good quality from Brazil.
- Jackets, 50+ We love FCUK jackets, they add colour or textural interest to any wardrobe!
- Belts £30, good value and great designs
- Jewellery £15+make a statement!
- Leather bags @£160. Safe bags but we like them as there is not too much branding and unnecessary hardware!
- Soft tees from £25
Purchase with care
Sizing can be limited
Jeans tend to come in one length- 34" and there are no half sizes (ie Size 9,11,13 etc)
Check what you are paying for
The quality and tailoring of the garment should be excellent at the price you pay. Particularly check the wool content on jumpers and look carefully at hems.
Coats can be too trendy!
Unless you can afford to buy a one season wonder, try to avoid buying their up to the minute coats. Choose more classic styling that will last season after season.
