Dorothy Perkins

There is plenty of fun to be had at Dotty P .  Use it to add some cheap fun and frivolity to your classic wardrobe. It is an excellent summer shop to buy cheerful holiday basics.  There are some lovely tops and dresses that are great value and will be great for one and maybe even two seasons.  If you find you are taking yourself too seriously and are getting a bit hung up about fashion...go and let yourself go a bit here...but not too much!

The Shopping List

• Tops £20+  very cute ditsy tops
• Vests, cami's and boob tubes £6+
• Cotton cardigans and shrugs £18+
• Day dresses £22+ remember ..keep the tailoring simple unless buying a dress with floaty fabric
• Jeans £25+ ...great for skinny legs
• Work suits £50+ amazing value but will shine quickly, so use for one off situations, not every day wear. If you have a high powered job that requires a great suit, then this is not for you but if you work for a charity and wear a suit once a year for the AGM ...then why not! All we suggest is to a void any extra details like more buttons than are necessary, bows etc.  Keep suits simple at Dotty P!

Approach the shoes and bags with caution

Dotty P have plenty of shoes to choose from but often, there is something about them that isn't "quite right".  Either too much fringing, wrong colour, strange metallic balls etc etc.  Pay attention to the detail because this will either win or lose the FCaNK look.

Although the bags are really good value, as with the shoes, they didn' quite make it into our FCaNK favourites.  It might be the wrong clasp, the colour etc,  even the Suzy Smith bags didn't quite hit the right note with us!  We will keep an eye on these collections because they have potential!

Avoid the jewellery

Avoid the necklace and earrings sets and we actually found all the necklaces a bit sparse and sometimes a little trashy!

Cheap and Nasty alert

Their logo T shirts are really cheap and nasty...perfect for a terrible, tarty hen night!!
