Crew Clothing Co.

Crew Clothing Logo
Crew Clothing is a quiet achiever. They are a lovely alternative to Polo Ralph Lauren with some classy good quality styling at reasonable prices. Their site is really easy to work your way around and delivery is quick and efficient. Their quality is mostly pretty good, just watch out for the cashmere knitwear, which tends to bubble pretty early on. Crew Clothing also knows how to hold a true blue sale. Their sale items are always heavily reduced making it an even better shopping experience! Remember that you can always visit them in store as well! The staff are usually really very nice and helpful!

Crew Clothing Linley JacketThe Shopping List

  • We can't fault their denim jeans. They are good quality and wear really well. We especially like them as they have a reasonable waist on them. They aren't too low or too high! Just right. £65-£75
  • Cord jeans. Again, the styling and fit are pretty good and the cord is a good quality. £55-£60.
  • Shirts. Crew's shirts are a great fit at a good price. You can't beat £45 for a shirt that will last at least 3 seasons and still look crisp and fresh every time you wash and iron it.
  • Boots. You can pick up some classic leather boots from Crew that will last you through the seasons. Look after them well by re heeling them every season and you will have a great investment. £135-£145.
  • Sweatshirts and rugbys. Again, the quality is very good and will last you a few seasons. Fur Coat's rugby has been going since 2005 and is still looking good! @£50
  • Cotton and Woolen Knitwear. We love this. Good quality and great styling at a fab price! £55-£120.
  • Shorts. Their shorts are a winner and are great to pull on after a day at the beach. £39.

Purchase with Caution

  • Watch the Cashmere. FCaNK is not convinced that Crew Clothing is sourcing it's cashmere from good quality stock. The knitwear tends to pull, bubble and even tear. We will leave it open to see whether Crew will up their quality in this area as their styles and colourways are mostly to die for! Are you reading this Crew Clothing?!
  • Watch the sizing. Some of their clothes come up big (jeans) whilst others come up small (rugbys). Best to try on and see!
  • Don't deck yourself out in all Crew Clothing! As it is a classic conservative label, you need to mix and match it so you don't end up looking like a model from one of their ads!
