What To Wear Over My Bikini This Summer?!

Firstly, a big apology. I have been slack, very slack....no blog since the 21st May. An absolute disgrace! Onwards and upwards, though I say. Onto a big subject.  How to cover up with style and panache by the pool or sea this Summer. Southern Hemisphere girls, take note for November '10 time!
My Wardrobe Anitk Batik Leonare Kaftan £284I am a big kaftan fan. Not too long or you will look like a tent! (If you do go long, go sheer...you will then see a bit of body through the material and avoid the tent look!) I love this Antik Batik kaftan on the left.  It flows beautifully and shows the contours of the body in all the right places.
Not too short or you will look like Pamela Anderson on a bad day. I go for the ones that skim just above or below the knee. Below the knee if you are that bit older. Above the knee if you are young and sprightly! Team it with some flip flops or gladiator sandals for a really fab look!

You can pay what you want for a kaftan. My favourite one is a crisp white cotton one I picked up in Clapham Junction for £10! Yes!! The White Company do some fab white kaftans for Summer.
If you are into the beach dress, then look no further than Gant for your Fur Coat number this season. You will spend over the £100 mark...but you will look good!Debenhams Blue Chambray Bandeau Beach Dress £26
I really love this No Knickers dress from Debenhams. Isn't it cute?  At £26, you can't go wrong really. Click on the image to take you straight to the page!
I love sherring at the top of beach dresses. They keep everything in and give you a bit of structure after a hard day of relaxing at the beach/pool! Again, team up with flip flops (they are called thongs in Australia!! Woo Hoo) or sandals for a great look.
Oh, I won't be forgetting my cowboy hat for added sun protection and style effect on the beach!
Signing off for now!
