My iPhone just went through the washing machine and died!!

This blog has nothing at all to do with fashion! It does, however, impact on my ability to write about it as I am now officially technologically bereft!
The  iPhone disaster is the last of a long list of techno disasters that have set themselves upon me this week! Let's just say it was a miracle that the Newsletter was sent out yesterday. That was care of a session and a couple of coffees at the neighbourhood Starbucks.
Let me fill you in. We moved out of our house and into a teeny weeny flat last weekend for 6 months. FC husband kindly did me a favour and asked Virgin to transfer our broadband and TV to the flat. Virgin said, "Sure, we'll do that on the 20th May!" How nice of them, we thought. What did they do? They b.....y well disconnected the internet at our house immediately! No internet to write FCaNK newsletters and the like.
That's okay I thought. I can deal with that. I will go and buy a Dongle (who thought up that name?!) and connect to the internet that way at the flat.  No No No!!! A Dongle relies on the mobile phone network and as our flat is in a mobile phone blackspot - no internet! So back to the house and thank goodness the Dongle works here so that I can write this blog!
AAAGGHHHH!!
So I wake up this morning and decide to do some washing. My bed linen,  to be precise! As I merrily stripped the bed, I forgot that I had been attempting to connect to the internet on the iPhone moments earlier and had left the iPhone in the bed....oh oh...iPhone gets tossed in the wash along with the bed linen. It died a terrible death.  It was already brain damaged as FC Husband had chucked it in an esky full of water at the end of a boozy night in Greece. There it stayed for 15 minutes before I discovered it. It survived then but not this time. FC Husband has bought me a new iPhone so peace shall be restored tonight...hopefully. Right, that is enough ranting for now. Signing off,  Fur Coat
Oh,  did I mention that I don't have a landline until the 20th of May?! Hilarious!!
