It's time to get your glad rags on and party, party, party!

Haven't most of us had a really crappy year? So let's get on our glad rags and prepare to bring on 2010 in style! That's what the Fur Coat family intends to do. We are spending NYE with some very good friends, children and ageing parents who still know how to party!

I popped down to my favourite boutique, Galleria Conti, which is owned and run by George and Marietta. Marietta kindly discounted her clothes before Christmas enabling me to buy a blue sequin dress ready and waiting for the 31st December! I am teaming it with some very cute black tights (adorned with red bows on the thighs and the ankles) by the fab Aussie designer, Alannah Hill. My sister sent them over as a Christmas present for me! You can find her designs at Austique in London and of course all over Australia! Check out her website anyway as it is a real visual treat!

I am going to try and go easy on the champas this year! I will let you know if I was successful in my plight next time I check in!
